He recently directed the critically acclaimed hit Loose Canon (Scranton Shakespeare Festival, FringeNYC, Fringe Encore Series) by Gabriel Weissman Vega and Brian Reno, which garnered the Fringe Favorite Award and the TheatreMania Audience Favorite Award.
His production of Terrence McNally’s It’s Only a Play at Hawaii Theatre Center was the first regional production after its record breaking run on Broadway.
He has worked extensively on new plays with productions including Sarah DeLappe’s But I Digress (The Habitat) and Mom Play (UglyRhino Productions), Jeremy O. Harris’s Xander Xyst, Dragon: 1 (Samuel French OOB Festival, Sanguine Theatre Company), Blake Bishton’s No Baby (The Habitat), Josh Drimmer’s The Lighthouse Invites the Storm (Sanguine Theatre Company), Helen Banner’s The Sixth Borough (Fresh Ground Pepper), and Jessica Penzias’s The Whole Damn Thing (Midtown International Theatre Festival).
He was honored with HB Studio’s 2015 First Floor Residency with the playwright Julia Izumi where they began development on The Makers, a mash-up of origin stories and creation myths from around the world.
He was a member of the Director’s Playground at The Habitat, the Directing Corp at Williamstown Theatre Festival, and Manhattan Theatre Club’s Jonathan Alper Directing Fellowship pool.
Logan has served as Assistant Director to John Rando, Jack Cummings III, Eric Simonson, Saheem Ali, Jonathan Silverstein, and Ed Sylvanus Iskandar.
He frequently assists the playwright, Terrence McNally, with recent productions including Mothers and Sons and It’s Only a Play, both on Broadway.
He is a Creative Associate at Tom Kirdahy Productions (White Rabbit Red Rabbit, Mothers and Sons, It’s Only a Play, The Visit) with upcoming productions including Anastasia and The Bandstand on Broadway and The Goat or, Who Is Sylvia? on The West End.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Tufts University.
